Richmond Care Home is located within the residential area of Recreation Road, Shirebrook. Our home is conveniently located a short distance from both the local shops and the town centre. Set within half an acre of land, Richmond Care Home offers peaceful surroundings, with ample car parking for visitors.

Our 40-bedroom home offers warm and comfortable accommodation to residential clients, including those living with dementia. Every room has its own en suite facility which includes a WC and washbasin.

Each bedroom here at Richmond Care Home is fully furnished to a high standard and is equipped with a call-bell system, TV point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. There are many options for bathing including assisted bathrooms and shower rooms, with roll in and roll out showers/wet rooms. One of which has a bath that is fitted with a manual hoist and one with a fully electric hoist, for ease of bathing.

Here at Richmond Care Home we offer a vibrant and exciting activities schedule, for those residents wishing to participate. This includes arts, crafts, baking, letter writing, music and pampering sessions. We frequently hold seasonal events and regularly welcomes local baby and toddler groups, and pet therapy groups to the home.

Our on-site facilities include a hairdressing salon, cafe and a big screen for film viewings. Outings are regularly arranged in Shirebrook and the surrounding area for those wishing to spend time outside of the home.
